WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY HEADSHOTS?

No matter what type of headshot you are shooting, bring your favorite clothes for your headshots - you have to feel good to look good! And unless you have been specifically asked by your corporation, manager, agent, etc. to wear a specific color or style, we encourage you to wear whatever clothing represents you best. With over 18 years of experience, we have learned to never say never to specific colors or styles (except distracting logos or words/graphics on clothing - everyone, please avoid this unless you are promoting a business through your clothing). We will review your clothing options together, shoot test images if necessary, and review them together to ensure the focus is on you, not your clothing. Bring extra outfits, no matter how many looks you are shooting in - we love options! Consider layers that aren't too bulky. Your clothing should fit well - nothing too tight or too loose - and should be wrinkle free.

DO I NEED PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR MY HEADSHOTS?

Professional hair and makeup is not required for your headshots. What is most important about your headshot is that you look like yourself. If you do have your hair or makeup done prior to your shoot, please be sure that it represents you accurately. Wear neutral tones if you don't typically wear makeup. No need to go heavy on eye makeup or lips - you do not need extra makeup for your headshots. If you get your hair professionally styled, make sure it does not look too far from how you look on a regular day. The goal is always to look like yourself. If you have blemishes or other temporary marks on your face, we can retouch them. No need to apply heavy makeup to cover up marks. Retouching is included with all images and is always completed very naturally. You will never look "retouched."

WHEN WILL MY ONLINE PROOFS BE AVAILABLE? 

Your online, password-protected proofs will be available typically within 24 hours of your headshot session. Proofs are posted for 30 days and are kept on file for one year from the day of your shoot. 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY RETOUCHED IMAGES?

Your retouched images are typically available for download via a Dropbox folder within 48 hours of receiving your order. Same-day rush service is available.
